This Cookie Policy explains how Halood ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at halood.app (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally. Halood is the data controller and is established in the United Kingdom; our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to keep them secure, and to provide reporting information. "Similar technologies" include local storage, pixels, and the software development kit (SDK) identifiers used inside mobile apps.
For the purposes of this policy, cookies fall into two groups:
We do not use any analytics, advertising, personalisation, or cross-site tracking cookies on the Website. The Website provides product and legal pages, universal-link pages, and a waitlist form. It does not load third-party analytics, advertising, social media, or embedded-media scripts. Submitting the waitlist form sends the email, device preference, referrer, and browser information described in our Privacy Policy, but it does not require an analytics or advertising cookie.
The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary cookies placed by our infrastructure and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, Inc., to keep the Website secure and available. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner — under PECR, consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.

These cookies are set by Cloudflare acting as our processor and do not contain information that identifies you personally. They are categorised as strictly necessary and are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR. Cloudflare publishes details of the cookies it sets in its cookie documentation.
The Halood iOS app is a native application and does not use browser cookies. It uses pseudonymous SDK identifiers for analytics, crash reporting, subscription measurement, and advertising attribution. AppsFlyer can access the IDFA only if you grant Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. These practices and their controls are described in Sections 3, 7, and 11 of our Privacy Policy.
Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing to opt out of for non-essential tracking. You can still control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove them. Note that blocking strictly necessary security cookies may affect the Website's availability or performance.
